In an earlier post, I talked about how I had signed up for a volunteer organization called Give An Hour, which is an organization comprised of mental health/substance abuse therapists who give an hour of free counseling to military people and their families.
Sadly, due to factors outside of my control, I need to back out of that organization. I don’t have the ability to give an hour due to work concerns.
I continue to have a special place in my heart for the military (I am a Navy Brat, after all), and I do counsel some military and former military people. I plan to continue to do that on a regular basis. However, I cannot do it gratis at this time.
